She was awarded a Medical Degree, a Professional Title of Physician, and completed Neurology Residency Program at Gomel Regional Clinical Hospital where she treated some of the most complicated neurological cases from all over the country under the supervision of the Chief Neurologist. During her practice, Inesa received training in all sub-specialty areas of Neurology.
While working as a Neurologist in the Neurology and Neuro Trauma Departments, Inesa specialized in treating and preventing neurological disorders and sports injuries.
Inesa Zelepuhin is a third-generation Medical Doctor and second-generation acupuncturist. Her interest in acupuncture came during her first year of Medical University and grew during her Neurology Residency Program. She gained invaluable experience working with very knowledgeable Neurologists who used acupuncture as part of their treatments. She then completed an Acupuncture program for Medical Doctors at Belorussian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and successfully passed the certification examination. As Inesa’s practice grew she conducted many studies about the effectiveness of acupuncture for treating neurological disorders and sports injuries.
In 2006 Inesa immigrated to the United States and started a family. In 2012 she enrolled in the American Institute of Alternative Medicine to obtain a degree of Professional Master’s Level of Acupuncture. During her internship, she received a unique opportunity to study at the Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in Beijing China. At the hospital, Inesa worked with doctors who have the highest levels of acupuncture expertise and used techniques and methods not seen elsewhere.
The foundation of Inesa’s practice is a unique combination of experience and education as both a physician and an acupuncturist. She merges the best aspects of Western Medicine (diagnosis, physiology, and disease etiology) with those of Chinese Medicine (treatment of the root of the disease instead of just the symptoms, restoring overall body balance without the side effects of medications).
Inesa is always a believer in the body‘s own strength and capacity to heal. Acupuncture is proven to be an effective form of therapy that encourages the natural healing process with no negative side effects. The focus of her practice is on neurological, musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, emotional and physiological disorders, woman’s health, and cosmetic facial rejuvenation.
Testimonials
I have a condition that is effectively treated by acupuncture. I have seen three different acupuncturists since I started getting treatment. Inesa has been the most knowledgeable of the art and science and has used a form of treatment that has been the most effective. I really like working with her. She is personable and really cares about what she does as much as the people she treats. If you are looking for an acupuncturist in the Cincinnati area, she is the best.
